The Volée is a non-alcoholic aperitif in the style of a French wine aperitif and is created by Berlin-based Volée GmbH. This is how it was born: A balmy summer evening in 1972 on the southern French coast. Uncle Jean and Aunt Amandine are following their good friend and secret host – Gustave the Peacock – through their lush artist's garden, the "Jardin du Paradis."
Amidst ripe grapefruits, juicy peaches, and the warm scent of elderflowers, they discover a mysterious, previously unknown plant. The perfect refreshing summer aperitif was born.
Almost 50 years later, they're sharing their secret family recipe with us. And in true French style: Avec Plaisir!

DESCRIPTION
In the production of this non-alcoholic aperitif, hand-picked, unfermented Chardonnay grapes are pressed into a juice and blended with macerates of grapefruit, bitter orange, damiana, elderflower, verjuice, and mountain peaches. The result is a juicy and fruity aperitif with an elegant interplay of sweet and tart fruit notes.
